We are specialized in non-cutting processes for forming and cutting. Thus, all types of components can be shaped, trimmed, crimped, expanded and much more. We fulfill special demands for short cycle times, precise geometry of the final product as well as robust and maintenance-friendly designs within our systems.
The biggest advantage here is the tool less processing. A consistent high cut quality is achieved. The laser allows a high degree of flexibility in contour selection, while providing a clean and perfect cut without the need for finishing the edges. In addition there is a high processing speed and the low heat impact into the material.
At BENTELER Mechanical Engineering you can choose between an individual laser cutting solution as well as a standard system (BLC = BENTELER Laser Cell), which is particularly cost-effective and very flexible.
The BENTELER Laser Cell (BLC) has been developed for the precise and quick processing of contours, cut-outs and holes of chassis and structural components. In this case, fixtures on a rotary table enable reciprocal processing of two workpieces. In comparison to the frequently used robot-controlled systems, the CNC-controlled system shows clear advantages in the process time because the access to the components is very easy.
Machines and systems for the automaticly punching of chassis and structural components are also a special field of BENTELER Mechanical Engineering. It also includes the design of the required hydraulic system as well as the design of whole dies and punch tools. Especially the accuracy of the final product with the longest possible tool life has been of main interest. Depending on the requirements regarding the cycle time, flexibility and accessibility of the products to be punched, we offer stationary punching machines or robotic solutions, in which the punch pliers are automatically docked onto the robot.
